Fullstack Developer at Redi AS

I build web applications with Next.js, TypeScript and Supabase, and share what I learn along the way.

I'm a fullstack developer at Redi AS, where I work on software for both internal teams and clients. My day-to-day is mostly about building robust web applications with Next.js, TypeScript and Supabase, deployed on Vercel and Azure.

What I work on

At Redi, Redi Hub is one of the main deliverables, a platform that handles both Redi-internal projects and client projects with their own design profiles and component library variants per client. I work server-first with App Router, ISR and type safety all the way out to the edges.

In my spare time I'm building Klink, a Norwegian drinking game web app written in Next.js and Supabase. The project started as an exercise in shipping something from idea to production on my own, and has become a sandbox for things I want to test without production risk.

How I work

I like simple solutions that stand the test of time, type-safe contracts, clear abstraction layers, and debugging that finds the root cause instead of patching symptoms. I prefer server components, ISR and unstable_cache over client-heavy architecture whenever the choice exists.

Background

I've worked with fullstack development and WordPress administration, and have a background in 3D interior rendering and digital communication. That gave me a visual eye that I actively use when designing interfaces today.

Music under the name Makkos

Alongside the code I make electronic music under the artist name Makkos. My sound sits at the intersection of electronica, pop and club music, with clear inspiration from house and afro house. I work a lot with groove, rhythm and atmosphere, music that should feel just as good in headphones as on a dance floor.

My background in development influences the way I produce. I experiment with sound the same way I experiment with architecture: test, adjust, contrast the simple with the detailed. The two sides of me are more connected than I thought they would be.

You can find my music on Spotify and other streaming platforms.
